Family Thrive Course
Free children’s emotional well-being course for parents and carers
At our school, we know that children learn best when they are happy and settled. Our whole school community uses the Thrive approach to help develop all our children’s emotional and social well-being. This approach also supports the development of essential learning qualities like motivation, concentration, attention, enjoyment, engagement, and the emotional and social skills that are so important for a happy and successful life.
We are pleased to be offering our Family Thrive course for parents/carers, after the half-term holiday. The course is free and open to any member of the family. We will be meeting every Wednesday afternoon for six weeks and over this time we will explore the basics of how the brain works, child brain and emotional development, and the importance of relationship when helping children with their feelings and emotions.
For more information about Thrive, please see information in the documents section of the app. These can also be found on the school website.
