  • Harvest Festival Donations

    It is the time of year to celebrate and share our harvest, and we would again like to make a collection for our local food bank.

    If you are able to support this very worthy cause, the items the food bank is especially in need of include the following:

    • Coffee
    • Sugar
    • Orange squash
    • Cereals
    • Baked beans
    • Tinned tomatoes
    • UHT milk
    • Tinned fruit
    •  Gravy powder
    • Shaving foam
    • Disposable razors
    • Men’s shower gel
    • Shampoo
    • Men’s roll-on deodorant
    • Rice pudding
    • Tinned/Powered custard
    • Anti-bac hand soap

     
    • Washing-up liquid
    • Scourer sponges
    • J-cloths
    • Washing Powder
    • Dishwasher tablets
    • Toothbrushes
    • Toothpaste

    Please could donations be non-perishable items (tinned, packet or dried items), rather than fresh fruit or vegetables, and be in-date.  

    Please send in any donations by Friday, 16th October.

  • SEND Information and Survey

    Ofsted and the Care Quality Commission (CQC) are carrying out an inspection of services and support for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in Devon.
    As part of the inspection, inspectors want to hear directly from children and young people with SEND, parents and carers, and practitioners. They use this feedback to help them understand people’s experiences of SEND services and support across the local area.

    The surveys will remain open until 9am on Tuesday 13th October.
    Your responses will be treated confidentially by the inspection team.

    Do you have a child who will be starting Reception (Year R) in September 2027?

    We are delighted to invite prospective parents and carers to our Open Evening, where you will have the opportunity to meet our dedicated staff, explore our learning environment, and discover what makes our school such a special place to learn and grow.

    4:00pm to 5:30pm

    Whether you are just beginning to think about school places or are ready to make your choice, we would love to welcome you and answer any questions you may have.

    During the evening, you will have the opportunity to:

    • Meet our Headteacher and staff team
    • Tour our Reception classrooms and outdoor learning areas
    • Learn about our curriculum and school values
    • Find out how we support children in making a happy and successful start to school

  • Mealtime Assistant and Playleader Vacancy

    Monday - Friday, 12:15 - 1:15pm.

    We are also looking for a playworker in our after school club.

  • School Reports

    We would like to let you know that your child's end-of-year report will be sent to you via email today.

    If you have not received the report by the end of the day, please check your junk or spam folder. If you are still unable to locate it, please contact the school office and we will be happy to assist.

    We hope that you are pleased with your child's report and the progress they have made this year.

    Parents and carers of pupils in Years 1, 4 and 6 will also receive their child's statutory test results by email today.

    Please note that an updated attendance email will be sent to all parents and carers on the last day of term.

    Thank you for your continuing support throughout the year. We greatly value the strong partnership between home and school and wish you and your family a happy and enjoyable summer.
